June 2019 Budget
I spent the first half of June in Turkey and the second living in Sofia, Bulgaria. Istanbul was expensive (first destination after Asia) and I decided to look for volunteering opportunities. I heard back from a hostel in Sofia, Bulgaria, and decided to follow what the world was telling me to do.

Where I went off Budget
- Transit & Restaurants (under)
- I assumed Europe was going to be more expensive than Asia and while in Istanbul I thought I was right…Bulgaria was a different story. It was so cheap to move around, to eat, to shop. I really need to go back sometime with a larger suitcase.
My game plan for July is to travel around and see a few countries before heading to Barcelona in August. I already bought my ticket and I just need to be in Croatia on the 13th!
