September 2019 Budget
This is the lowest month in a while. It has been a long time since I have seen numbers like these. Even with some unexpected events and expenses – I have come out on top. Luckily for me, next month is full of hostels, trains, and East Europe.
Big Purchases
- New Phone
- RIP to my google pixel. Perfect in every way except for battery life.
- Groceries
- I was living in one spot the whole month so I was able to visit the fresh markets every week.
- Transit
- On days off, I spent tons of time exploring Northern Portugal.

Where I went off Budget
- Flight
- I am a super spontaneous person and I had no idea where to go after visiting home for Thanksgiving. I am also applying for jobs so I was holding off in case someone responded to me. When no one did…I took the plunge!
I got about 80 bucks as a gift from the hostel. First money made in over a year! I have been applying to tons of jobs and programs and everything. All I want is something not boring and warm weather. Apparently employers aren’t intersted as I have heard nothing back as of yet…
