April 2019 Budget

Isn’t it shocking how much money you can still spend when you aren’t paying for housing? In my defense, the first week of April I was still in Bali on my Nusa Penida island private tour I booked. Treat yourself, people!

Where I went off Budget

  • Private Tour
    • For my last week in Bali, I really wanted to visit Nusa Penida Island. My problem was that the only way to get around the island was on a motorcycle. Because I have fallen many times driving myself around Asia, I was hesitant to go here. Instead, I decided to pay for a local to drive me around on his motorcycle. This way I got to decide where I wanted to go and see more things. It turned out to be a fantastic few days, where I got to meet this man’s family, his hidden spots on the island, and make a friend for life!

nice job keeping such a tight budget, tracking expenses, being careful with your money. How much longer do you think you’ll be able to stretch it out? And what plans do you have, other than writing a book about your experiences, do you have after your trip is done? Auntie Lynn
