Albania 2019 Solo Traveler Budget

It was kind of a random stay in Albania. I had initially wanted to spend a lot more time in the country. First, I was going to visit Tirana, but everyone I met who had come from there said it was boiling hot. Err. Then, I was going to visit the coast. But a friend who went before me said it was packed with tourists and not fun. Ahh! So, as per usual, I followed my “ok I have no housing tomorrow, what is my mood like” intuition for what to do. I definitely spent a lot, peep the daily average, way more than normal. But, hey, staying in private rooms in guesthouses in the Accursed Mountains is a good expense in my opinion. One needs a break from dorms at times.
