Vienna 2019 Solo Traveler Budget

Vienna was the most expensive place I went in Europe. The food was super pricey (I paid it, anything for food!) and the museums were also super expensive. Housing was also above average prices but luckily I got it for free as I stayed with one of my Aunt’s friends in the suburbs. This was nice because she gave me a tour of the city and fed me multiple times! I already spent a lot in Austria but staying with friends always reduces the budget by at least half!

My total spent during my weekend in Vienna was $161.33 at an average of $26.89 a day.

Big purchases:

– Museums.

– Food!

Exact numbers:

Transit: $77.91
Restaurants: $34.72
Events: $26.21
Clothing: $10.05
Cafe: $8.16

If Austria is this expensive, I can’t imagine Switzerland! The US is still in the lead for most expensive place I have ever been. The only countries that I think will beat it will be ones in Northern Europe or Australia/New Zealand.
